DINAIR AIRTAN is a unique airbrush system developed by a leading makeup artist in Los Angeles, California, whose clients are well-known celebrities. The process is a very relaxing session where we gently airbrush spray your skin with a water-based natural product that is enhanced with DHA, raspberries and strawberries to give you that glorious brown tan in 30 minutes. 1. Please exfoliate your skin the night before. Do not use moisturizer or deodorant so you can come in with clean skin. If you cannot meet these requirements, we have a moist towelette wipe that can prepare skin with a light exfoliation and pH balancer to achieve optimal results for proper tanning.
2. You should bring appropriate tanning attire, such as a bathing suit, swim trunks or underwear. You can tan topless only. Thongs are acceptable.
3. It takes 15 minutes for full-body airbrushing, and 10 minutes to dry.Your appointment time should be 30 minutes.
4. Loose clothing is recommended and it should not stain your clothing.
5. You will leave the spa with an instant tan due to the bronzer (the level of darkness in unique to you, depending on your skin tone). However, you should not shower or exercise for at least 5 hours to allow the true tan to develop.
6. The tan will take 5-24 hours to develop and will last up to 10 days. You can repeat the process after 24 hours if you want to become more deeply tanned to build your initial base tan. Each tan is equivalent to 2-3 sessions at a tanning salon. Repeat appointments every 7-10 days.
7. The tan will exfoliate off just like a normal tan. If you have very dry skin or you perspire a lot, the tan will need a little more maintenance, as you normally would do. Daily moisturizing is essential. Please note that moisturizing is critical and should be done daily to extend the life of your tan.
8. Our facility does recommend the use of our tanning-appropriate products to extend the life of your tan. We recommend our Tan Extender moisturizer, which contains DHA tan-enhancing ingredients. We also recommend our Tropical Enzyme Scrub and Satin Boy Cream loaded with antioxidants and vitamins to drench your beautifully-tanned skin.
PLEASE NOTE: Everyone will tan differently depending on their own unique skin type. Therefore, each tan will be unique to that individual.
For instance, if you are fair-skinned, you will not tan as deeply as someone who is olive-skinned. What this means is that since your tan is unique to you, if you do not tan normally, you will need to repeat your visits more frequently if you desire a deep tan. You will determine your level of darkness based on what you wish your results to be and how your own unique tan develops. Your skin will only absorb a certain amount of tanning product during any one given session, so you must wait at least 24 hours to see the full development of your unique tan. If your results are not as deep as you would like, as in the sun or tanning bed, you must return to build a deeper base.
Not recommended for the first three months of pregnancy or if you are allergic to self-tanning solutions or products.
